High-Speed Safety Couplings for High-Speed Applications ✓ Free Run ✓ High Power Density ✓ High Torque Stiffness ✓ Completely Assembled and Balanced ✓ Load-Disconnecting The EAS®-HSE is a form-locking, disengaging safety coupling based on the ball-sinking principle. In operation, the set torque is transmitted from the hub through the pressure flange or the flange hub to the output. When the set torque is exceeded (overload condition), the coupling disengages. During disengagement, the pins in the overload elements perform an axial movement (stroke) and remain in the disengaged position. Following masses can run free. Re-engagement is done manually.
