About this product

EGE inductive sensors for high mechanical loads continue to operate safely and reliably after 10 impacts of 8 joules. The sensor, protected by a stainless steel sleeve, is particularly resistant to shocks and vibrations. They are ideal for areas where standard sensors are mechanically damaged. EGE offers variants that are resistant to high-pressure cleaning with an IP 68/IP69 protection class for use at temperatures up to 110° C, as well as sensors that are resistant to contamination with a PTFE coating. The proximity sensors operate based on the proven inductive principle and switch without contact when approaching a metallic object. These sensors are particularly suitable for intensive use, for example in metallurgy, welding, and mobile machinery.
