Training on Oil Quality - Oilseed or Essential Oil

When a producer requests an analysis of an oil, whether it be an oilseed or essential oil, it is often done solely to establish compliance for selling purposes. However, analysis reports contain a wealth of information that is often misinterpreted or completely misunderstood. In response to repeated requests, LAHN offers training on the biochemistry of vegetable oils and essential oils, enabling producers and traders of oils to understand and interpret the analysis results of their oils. LAHN offers two training sessions on these topics. Training 1 focuses on the biochemistry of vegetable and oilseed oils (olive oil, sunflower, safflower, camelina, rapeseed, soybean, etc.). The molecular structure of oils, analysis parameters, and regulatory aspects regarding quality will be presented. Training 2 focuses on the biochemistry of essential oils, their compositions, chemical measurements, and aspects.
