RK Rose+Krieger has optimized its proven RK Duoline linear unit profile for use in clean rooms and offers RK Duoline Clean linear axes with or without vacuum connection in commonly used sizes of 60 and 80 pieces. A total of eight different types have been successfully tested according to EN ISO 14644-1 and certified for clean rooms from class 1 (RK Duoline Clean 60 SU with vacuum connection at 0.5 m/s) to class 5 (RK Duoline Clean 80 Z without vacuum connection at 0.5 m/s). All necessary tests to prove their suitability for clean room use were conducted at the Fraunhofer IPA Institute for Production Technologies and Automation in Stuttgart.
