RK LightUnit – Linear Unit / Linear Axis with Spindle Drive

In the development of the new "light" linear unit RK LightUnit, special attention was given to the use of materials for weight reduction. Here, a sliding-bearing aluminum spindle transmits the drive motion to a torsionally secured plastic guide carriage. This carriage is available in different versions depending on the application. The spindle is protected from contamination by a special sealing lip system, thereby increasing its lifespan and corresponding maintenance intervals.
