OSIRIS Surface and Profile Measurement System - Online measurement of surface and dimensional accuracy of long products

Here is a stationary optical measurement system for online monitoring of the precision and surface quality of long products. With advanced Laser Light Section technology and high sampling rates, the OSIRIS systems provide a complete 3D reconstruction of the product. With the OSIRIS Hot version, it is possible to analyze long products at temperatures up to 1100°C. The results are displayed live on the control terminal, allowing for early corrective action to increase throughput and product quality. The surface inspection function automatically detects and classifies deviations in the product surface (breaks, scratches, grooves, rolling, etc.). Additionally, profile cuts of the long product are generated simultaneously to verify dimensions such as width and height, various radii, and angles.
