EGE infrared detectors are designed for the detection of hot objects as well as for temperature recording and measurement. The sensors capture infrared rays from warm and hot objects ranging from 20°C to 800°C. EGE infrared detectors are built for use in extreme conditions. With their glass and stainless steel housing, they are waterproof according to IP 68 / IP 69 standards. With additional optics, they can be used in environments with temperatures up to 500°C. An optional open-air device makes the sensors insensitive to contamination of the optics. The detectors are used, among other things, for the detection of steel slabs or hot rolled wire, as well as for non-contact temperature control of malt barley in germination tanks.
