The EGE family of inductive standard sensors made in Germany includes robust inductive proximity switches, sensors with optimized EMC stability for increased demands, as well as sensors for long switching distances up to 160 mm and hysteresis for detecting large moving metal parts such as pipes, profiles, or plates. In addition, EGE offers standard threaded designs and sensors with smooth sleeves. The proximity switches operate based on the proven inductive principle and switch contactlessly when a metallic object approaches. Proximity switches are used for presence detection, position and motion monitoring, as well as counting objects and speed control on conveyor belts.
