Another solution for the gentle sorting of flat caps is the SSF type sorting part conveyor. The sorting part conveyor operates entirely without compressed air and, due to its low wear, does not generate any plastic dust. Depending on the closure, it achieves a performance of up to 250,000 closures per hour, and that in a single lane. The subsequent vertical transport of the flat caps via a chain magazine or by air flow allows for a comparatively low construction height of the sorting system and flexible site selection.
