The booster and spring technology combined with the four-edged knife head system allows for large bevels of up to 20mm. The SMA 50 series is available in electric or pneumatic versions. The machine is designed for processing steel, aluminum, copper, and plastics. In non-ferrous metals, a bevel width of up to 20 mm is possible, while in steel, a bevel width of up to 15 mm can be achieved. Additionally, radius processing from 1.2 mm to 8 mm is feasible. The outstanding and patented 8 or 16-edged insert system ensures high tool life, excellent surface quality, and economical operation.
