The stable edge milling machines are designed for beveling, edge milling, and preparation for welding. The machines can process sheet thicknesses from 2 to 190 mm. Thanks to the optimized interaction of the cutter head, indexable inserts, and minimal quantity lubrication, the machines produce a very good bevel quality. In non-ferrous metals and steel, a bevel width of up to 30 mm is possible. The MMB machines feature stepless speed regulation, which is very useful when processing aluminum or stainless steels. The angle adjustment can be set continuously within a range of 30° depending on the machine type and configuration, for example, 25°-55°, 30°-60°, or 35°-65°. The MMB series is equipped as standard with a feed unit. The machines can be expanded with roller conveyors or converted into automatic edge milling systems.
