Veccia

Vetch is a typical forage plant that is highly sought after by livestock. It is suitable for use as a green manure due to its nitrogen-fixing ability and has excellent weed suppression capabilities, but it is very sensitive to waterlogging. Although it adapts to all environments, it thrives best in those that are not excessively humid and cold, preferring temperate-warm climates. Vetch is a hardy plant that is rarely attacked by pathogens, although among the potential harmful pathogens, we note powdery mildew, downy mildew, and rust. It is an excellent forage crop, rich in protein (18% on a dry matter basis), highly digestible, and well-liked by livestock, provided it is used at the beginning of flowering. Agri Cereal Mandorle specializes in the wholesale sale of vetch seeds and various quality seeds.
