The Quicktest 38 allows you to determine whether the pretreatment of polyolefins (polypropylene, polyethylene, polybutylene) has had an effect. The liquid contained in the pen remains as a continuous line at a surface tension value of about 38mN/m or greater; below that, it beads up. The line applied with Quicktest 38 dries in seconds and does not need to be wiped off.
