On our newly built 13,000 square meter site, which we moved into in 2011, we have the optimal conditions for modern development and precise implementation of tailored machines. Start in Leeden The company, founded in 1979 in a garage in Tecklenburg-Leeden by father Günter Schmidt, is now run in the second generation by Björn Schmidt and Alexandra Ahlert. Co-Managing Director Björn Schmidt: "My mother had to move her car out." A small expansion at the location quickly followed. When it eventually became impossible to function without a factory hall, SVT moved to the industrial area in Natrup-Hagen, where a plot of about 1300 square meters was acquired. Hall constructions two and three followed in 1991 and 2000. However, there is not enough space there. The plot on which SVT has resided since 2011 is 3200 square meters large. A new office and workshop complex with modern climate control, new shower and changing rooms, as well as sufficient parking spaces right at the doorstep, are now available to the approximately 50 employees. A photovoltaic system has also been installed on the roof.
