Tempalux 1000-1000 (PEI) natural polyetherimide - in rods, sheets, and films for 3D printing or CNC machining

Tempalux is the family of polyetherimide (PEI) materials from Westlake Plastics. Tempalux is an amorphous material that offers high dielectric strength, high resistance, and rigidity at elevated temperatures (up to 180 °C for extended periods), high modulus, and broad chemical resistance. Tempalux has excellent dimensional stability (low creep and low linear thermal expansion coefficient) with good resistance to a wide range of chemicals such as automotive fluids, fully halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, and aqueous solutions. Tempalux has an intrinsic flame retardancy with low smoke generation, meeting ABD, FAR, and NBS standards. Tempalux is compliant with FDA and EU regulations for food contact applications.
