Cam Switch NOCN - CANopen Cam Switch with a maximum of four galvanically isolated switching outputs

This is a play-free electronic cam switch (short: NOCN) with a maximum of four customer-adjustable, galvanically isolated switching outputs (cams), which are activated or deactivated depending on the position of the drive shaft. Integrated within the compact housing is a parameterizable multiturn encoder with a CANopen interface, as well as the cam switch circuit board with a separate controller. The CANopen position signal of the encoder and the switching outputs can be parameterized separately. Parameterization is carried out via the corresponding CANopen objects according to the encoder profile per CiA, DS 406, Revision 4.01. The NOCN features error monitoring that outputs an error message via the CANopen bus upon detection of a fault (Emergency Message).
