Osyris Y 1000 Protection for machined or unmachined surfaces and mechanical parts that need temporary protection, where the protective product should be easy to remove. Osyris 1000 is an oil that forms a yellow film, easily recognizable as machining oil. This product offers good protection when stored indoors. Type of protective film: adhesive, oily film. Application: cold, by brushing, spraying, or dipping. Removal: degreasing by wiping or using warm alkaline detergents or common solvents. Duration of protection: 6 to 12 months in packaging, 3 to 6 months of indoor exposure, Not recommended for outdoor use. The recommended protection duration with OSYRIS Y 1000 is 6 months indoors. This duration greatly depends on the environment of the protected metal; we advise testing the product on a few pieces before validating it technically.
