Flying Probe Test

About this product

The Flying-Probe In-Circuit Test method is an electrical testing procedure that allows for rapid testing of assemblies with high test coverage, even those without test pads, during the prototype phase. In this testing method, freely movable test probes are programmatically positioned at specified coordinate points on the circuit board using air-bearing linear motors. The contact is made at electrical nodes directly on the traces, at component solder pads, at SMD connection pins, or, if available, on test pads.
