Formula Compliance Verification

The first step in registering cosmetics in Europe begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the product formula to confirm that it meets EU requirements. During this step, our safety advisors: - Verify all documents related to the ingredient (MSDS/COA/Not tested on animals/IFRA, etc.). - Check that the ingredients do not have restrictions set by European regulations and that any concentration limits are adhered to (if applicable). - Ensure that the ingredients used are suitable for cosmetics (cosmetic-grade ingredients). - Verify the toxicological profile of each ingredient. - Check if the ingredient contains impurities. - Consult SCCS opinions, guidelines, and other regulations (REACH, CLP). - Calculate the MoS (Margin of Safety) for each ingredient and/or seek documents from reliable literature stating that each ingredient is safe at the dosage used in the product.
