CMR/Marine Freight Transport

Cargo transport insurance, whether under CMR (Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road) or Marine, covers the risks associated with transportation, whether by land, sea, air, or river. It protects businesses against damage, loss, or theft of goods during transit. Damage to goods: Covers losses or damages caused to property as a result of accidents, bad weather, handling errors, or natural disasters. Theft of goods: Protects against theft during transportation. General average (Marine): In maritime transport, this coverage includes contributions to shared losses, particularly in cases where goods are sacrificed to save a distressed vessel. CMR liability: Covers the carrier's liability in the event of loss or damage during international road transport, in accordance with the CMR convention.
