Machine Safety, CE Marking

Do you manufacture machines for personal use or for sale? Then you are required to carry out a conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. As part of this procedure, you must demonstrate that your machine meets the safety requirements of the European Union and that your product complies with applicable standards and laws. A key part of this process is conducting a standards and requirements research as well as identifying all hazards through a comprehensive risk assessment. At the end of this procedure, the type plate and CE marking will be affixed. Together with you, we will develop practical measures to reduce the risks associated with the machine to an acceptable level. In addition to the required documentation, you will receive a list of measures in plain language from us. Of course, we will also support you in implementing these measures.
