Half-Space Demagnetization & Measurement System - HDMR

Magnetic Demagnetization and Measurement of Stationary Ships at a Pier - System for the Demagnetization of Naval Vessels and Subsequent Magnetic Measurement at a Pier or Dock-installed Magnetic Demagnetization and Measurement Facility, with the particularity that the ship remains stationary throughout the entire treatment process. The magnetic treatment and measurement of naval vessels, combined with low costs and minimal space requirements, leads to the integration and standardization of the advantages of ODMR and CDMR systems, where all system components are installed vertically on a magnetic docking station or pier at the horizontal level of the ship. STL has further developed this idea into the Half-Space Deperming Range (HDMR), which enables cost- and time-effective deperming and measurement processes for naval vessels with an optimal benefit-cost ratio. The above sketch illustrates the HDMR system, which combines simulation and deperming coil systems and is integrated into an existing dock.
