Under the brand name Capsil®, the Stephan Schmidt Group produces kaolin fillers for the adhesive industry, thermoplastics, thermosets, coatings, as well as for rubber and elastomer compounds. The products are characterized by a high mica content and a high aspect ratio. They are heat-forming and acid-resistant, and offer good mechanical processability due to low viscosities. Capsil® products are available in various grinding finenesses, which differ by the following wet sieve residues: "high" NR 45µm <2% "extra" NR 45µm <1% "supreme" NR 45µm <0.005% The color variants range from gray to white. Capsil® fillers are provided loose in silos or packaged in 25kg paper bags as palletized goods (1 ton each) or in BigBags, depending on the requirement.
