STAIGER Solenoid Valves - 2/2 or 3/2 Way Valves, NC or NO

Our solenoid valves are a robust and well-known standard technology. The armature moves vertically up and down in an armature guide tube (armature stroke). Due to the defined spring force of a compression spring, the armature is pressed into either the NC position (Normally Closed – closed valve seat) or the NO position (Normally Open – open valve seat) when there is no power. This principle can be implemented in different valve variants: • 2/2-way valve NC • 2/2-way valve NO • 3/2-way valve NC • 3/2-way valve NO In the powered state, the magnetic field generated in the coil pulls the armature against the spring force from the de-energized position. Magnetic coils for direct and alternating current greatly expand the variety of options. Since the magnetic coil surrounds the armature guide tube, and the armature moves (immerses) within this enclosed construction, these solenoid valves are referred to as immersion armature valves.
