Molded Compression Limiters - COMPRESSION LIMITERS

SPIROL manufactures several different types of molded compression limiters designed to be installed in the plastic assembly during the molding process. When molding compression limiters into the plastic assembly, the molding time increases because the operator or a pick-and-place robot must load each compression limiter onto the core pin(s) before closing the mold cavity. It is essential to accurately position the molded compression limiter on the core pin; otherwise, the mold may be damaged. The molded oval compression limiters from the SPIROL CL460 series and those from the CL500 series must be molded into the assembly, while those from the CL600 and CL601 series made of machined aluminum and those from the CL800 and CL801 series made of machined brass can be either molded or pressed into the assembly.
