The FH400 Headed Serrated Pins feature a series of teeth along the entire length of the pin. The Headed Serrated Pins are a great replacement for self-tapping screws in plastic assemblies as they can be installed in standard molded (or drilled) holes, install much faster than screws, and eliminate issues related to cross-threading or misalignment during installation. Unlike screws that resist extraction (or loosening) when tightened to a set torque, the Serrated Pins are held in place by the plastic filling over the aggressively designed teeth. The head provides a positive stop and is also used to secure a thin component to a thicker one in an assembly. The FH400 Headed Serrated Pins are available in metric diameters ranging from Ø2 mm to Ø6 mm and in inches from Ø.078" (5/64) to Ø.
