SPIROL's precision bushings and clamping bushings are designed to maintain alignment and are used for positioning components relative to each other. These roll-formed, hollow precision bushings feature lead-in chamfers that facilitate insertion into the holes of the two associated components. The flexibility of the bushing accommodates large hole tolerances, and the offset slot prevents interlocking. Precision bushings are constructed with an inner diameter that allows for the passage of a screw for fastening, eliminating the need for drilling an additional hole. They are also heat-treated to isolate the screw from shear loads.
