The GD100 Ground Alignment Sleeves from SPIROL are designed to be direct replacements for Solid Ground Sleeves manufactured according to ISO 8734 standards when used in alignment applications. This innovative product is made from strip steel, and then the outer diameter is ground to achieve extremely tight diameter tolerances that allow for critical alignment of up to 20 µm. The greatest advantage of the GD100 Hollow Ground Alignment Sleeve is its ability to achieve the same alignment as the Solid Ground Sleeve while reducing costs due to its hollow construction. In most cases, the Hollow Ground Sleeve is 50% lighter and at least 30% less expensive than its solid equivalent.
