2,800 m² Roof Renovation of a Two-Nave Production Hall During Ongoing Operations 2,800 m² roof renovation of two hall roofs including roof support structure. The renovation was carried out while operations were ongoing. To avoid interrupting operations, the roof was opened in sections, completely dismantled, and then rebuilt with a modified geometry. For the installation of the 3.5-ton steel girders, a 250-ton mobile crane with a 75 m reach was on site. Interestingly, the crane operator had no visual contact with the assemblers or the assembly site, which made it particularly challenging for him. He received all operational commands solely via radio.
