Series M – Multi-way Rotary Unions 2-4-6 Ways for High Pressure and Low Speeds

The M-type rotary unions are constructed in segments and feature a special sealing concept. The rotor is made of stainless steel with a hardened, ground, and polished surface. This design allows this type to operate with low wear and tear over a long period, even under high media pressure at low speeds. Furthermore, it prevents the "stick-slip effect" of O-rings during extended downtime. To prevent the rotation of the rotary union housing, a locking mechanism is provided, which must be secured with a clamping iron or a long-hole fork. In both cases, the same medium must always flow through to avoid mixing of media in the event of later wear-related leakage. The rotary unions must not be used under maximum operating conditions without prior consultation with the ROTOFLUX customer service.
