Linear Axis/Linear Unit EPX-II KG with Ball Screw

The new high-precision linear unit EPX-II KG is the successor to the proven COPAS axis from RK Rose+Krieger. Unlike the 'standard' EPX linear axis with a hollow shaft and sliding guide, the ball screw version features ground solid shafts with ball bushings. This ensures even greater accuracy during dynamic movement and precise positioning in continuous operation, guaranteeing smooth operation and an exceptionally long service life. The EPX-II KG compensates for high bending moments during manual and motor adjustment and has a duty cycle of 100%. Moreover, it impresses with low tolerances of the stress-free mounting surfaces (straightness = 0.2 mm) relative to each other.
