Applications The hydraulic sleeper replacement device HSW is a multifunctional unit for the installation and removal of track ballast as well as for the replacement of wooden and concrete sleepers. The attachment of the sleeper replacement device and the hydraulic power supply are provided by a two-way excavator or the respective carrier device. The installation and removal of the sleepers is carried out by a hydraulic, 360° continuously rotating sleeper clamp. The positioning and design of this clamp have been chosen to ensure safe and gentle installation and removal of all common wooden and concrete sleepers. There is no need to change the clamp, even with different types of sleepers. To achieve high efficiency of the sleeper replacement device, the maximum volume has been selected for the fixed mounted shovel segments.
