Designed for the manufacturing of high voltage insulators (550 kV), this press is among the largest produced by REP. The dimensions of the injection parts explain the size of the press: 660 mm in diameter, 2,600 mm long, molded in a single pass. The production of a complete insulator is therefore carried out in one or two cycles, significantly increasing the productivity and reliability of the parts. Machine specifications: - Clamping force: 24,000 kN - Platen size: 1,500 x 3,000 mm - Injection volume: 25,000 cm³ x 2 (2 injection units)
