Frame Magnets (Standard) / Hook Magnets

The term "frame magnet" or "bracket magnet" derives from the design of these lifting magnets. Also, note the two variants of unidirectional frame magnets and bidirectional frame magnets. C-frame magnets are linear magnets where the housing forms a shape comparable to the letter C. This design is often referred to as "U-frame" as well. C-frame magnets are the simplest and lightest design for linear magnets. Typically, C-frame magnets are only offered in smaller sizes. The magnetic fields flow from the north to the south pole and only pass through metal on one of the four surrounding sides.
