To improve the thermal properties of windows, instead of the standard aluminum spacer bars, we apply what are known as heated spacers. This solution significantly reduces heat loss through thermal bridges at the edges of double glazing. Heated spacers allow for higher temperatures at the edges of the glass. In addition to reducing heat loss, this effect also decreases the risk of condensation forming at the edges of the glass and, consequently, the growth of mold near the window, which is harmful to health.
