UV-curable adhesives

Instant Curing with Light Light-curing adhesives, commonly known as UV adhesives, are primarily used in bonding technology where quick curing is essential. These one-component products have the ability to cure within seconds at room temperature when exposed to UV light. This enables very short cycle times even for large quantities. The use of such UV adhesives typically requires that at least one of the components to be bonded has sufficient light permeability or that the adhesive surface can be directly exposed to a UV source. For components with shadow areas that cannot be fully illuminated, dual-curing adhesives are recommended, which, in addition to curing by light, have a second curing mechanism. Options for dual curing include thermal, anaerobic, or moisture-curing systems.
