Insulated Floor

A floor is the flat structure that separates the levels of a building. Its function is to support and transfer loads to the building's load-bearing elements. From an energy efficiency perspective, floors can account for up to 10% of a building's thermal losses, so they must be designed and insulated in accordance with technical and thermal regulations. Depending on the construction method used and the respective configuration (lowered floor, intermediate floor, or flat roof), PMP offers a wide range of specific solutions. In complementary applications, different systems allow for the combination of thermal performance and fire protection, even in seismic zones.
