The increase in electromagnetic radiation and the growing sensitivity of electronic components mean that cable glands are playing an increasingly important role in the shielding concept of a system. With its UNI Dicht and blueglobe series, PFLITSCH has created a tiered EMC range for EMC applications up to Cat. 8.2. The blueglobe TRI EMC cable gland separates the insert and the EMC shielding to achieve an extremely high attenuation of over 80 dB at 100 MHz. Even in the frequency range of up to 2.5 GHz, it typically achieves at least 50 dB. It also provides a high current-carrying capacity. To achieve this, a triangular spring is placed around the cable's shielding braid. Thanks to the shape of the spring, the braid does not get caught during any potential disassembly.
