Quality and alcohol content drop quickly when yields become excessive. Cultural and agronomic aptitudes This grape variety is quite robust and vigorous. It is well-suited to southern conditions, but its canes are brittle and it is sensitive to wind. Its early character allows for an expansion of its cultivation area (cooler climatic zones) or harvesting before equinox rains. It is sufficiently fertile to be managed with short pruning, but sometimes exhibits a certain alternation.
