PEEK sheets - Thermoplastic

Polyetheretherketone, or PEEK, is a semi-crystalline material that belongs to the category of specialty plastics, known for its excellent mechanical properties and heat resistance. If an application requires durability against wear and mechanical strength at high temperatures, PEEK is the right choice. PEEK can withstand continuous temperatures of +250 degrees Celsius and can handle peaks of up to +310 degrees Celsius, as well as being resistant to acids and bases. The most common applications are in the automotive industry, chemical industry, and aircraft components. This precision-engineered and durable material is also suitable for pumps, pistons, bearing housings, and hydraulic components. Ionizing radiation or steam will not damage the material, making PEEK suitable for use in hospital technology; for these applications, ISO 10993 certified medical-grade material is available. Carbon fiber makes PEEK conductive, so it is not suitable as an insulator.
