Remove the used seal from the door frame or fireplace body. Thoroughly clean the installation area of the seal. Cut the finishing tape into two pieces, remove the paper backing, and wrap the end of the seal without changing the diameter of the cable. Trim the remaining strands flush with the tape. Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the bottom of the groove. Start gluing the seal in the middle of the lower level of the groove. Press the seal into the adhesive without stretching it while gluing. After filling the groove with the seal, adjust its length by adding about 1 cm. Secure the other end of the seal with the remaining piece of tape. Cut off the excess and glue it down, ensuring there is no gap between the ends of the seal. Close the fireplace door, open it, and check if the seal is properly seated.
