NEMO® BO/SO Funnel Pump with Cutting Device

The NEMO® BO/SO funnel pump with integrated cutting device combines pumping and shredding in a single operation. Especially in the food industry, it enables quick and efficient processing of large solids, such as pieces of fruit or vegetables, while they are being pumped. The NEMO® BO/SO eccentric screw pump is equipped with a funnel, a coupling rod with a conveying screw, and a stuffing space. It is used in nearly all industrial sectors and ensures continuous, pressure-stable, gentle, and low-pulsation conveying. The funnel with the integrated cutting device ensures optimal feeding of the chunky medium to the conveying elements. When the medium passes through the stuffing space with the cutting unit at the coupling rod, larger pieces of fruit and vegetables are immediately shredded. This cutting unit consists of a rotating knife with three blades as well as a variable number of stationary knives that can be adjusted to the size and consistency of the particles.
