The electric heater can be placed inside or outside the area that needs to be treated for pests or dried. The hot air will be directed into the room, distributing heat evenly to all corners where insects are present. Heat-sensitive materials should be removed from the room as the temperatures reached can damage them. Insects will die at a temperature of 48 °C for 150 minutes, but if the temperature is increased to 55 °C for 60 minutes, it will eliminate the pest at all its stages (egg, larva, pupa, fully developed insect) by destroying the proteins in its body, a decisive factor for successfully eradicating the pest.
