MV 3D

MV 3D is used where the pure grayscale information from conventional 2D cameras is no longer sufficient. Depending on the task, high-resolution triangulation scanners (requiring part or scanner movement) or stereo camera systems (capturing images while stationary) are employed. In principle, all tasks described with the solutions MV CHECK, MV POS, MV MEASURE, MV SURFACE, or MV ID can also be represented with a 3D approach. This makes sense where the 2D solution no longer provides reproducible results due to various combinations of features.
