C 650 Machining Center - The C 650 sets new benchmarks in terms of travel and load capacity

The C 650 center is designed with a modified Gantry structure that has proven itself on the C 250 and C 400 from Hermle, featuring a mineral cast bed manufactured in Hermle's state-of-the-art foundry in Zimmern o.R. The integrated fixed clamping table can accommodate workpieces weighing up to 3000 kg max. (1050 x 900 x 600 mm) in the 3-axis version, making it ideally suited for tool, mold, and machine construction. On the swiveling rotary table of the 5-axis version, it is possible to machine workpieces weighing up to 1500 kg (Ø 900 x 600 mm) with extreme precision. The travel dimensions in the stainless steel-coated working space are 1050 x 900 x 600 mm, with a vertical opening of 775 mm and a door opening of 1050 mm. The C 650 features an integrated tool magazine for 42 tools. The C 650 center is equipped as standard with a Heidenhain TNC 640 control system, offering all the programming functionalities of this proven control unit.
