The NFR5 series level switches are installed from the outside using a 2" thread, providing simple control of liquid levels within tanks and similar containers. The Reed switch is activated by a permanent magnet located inside the float and is used to turn a low-power circuit (60 W) on or off. It features a switched contact. For installation, choose a location free from turbulence or agitation that could affect the float. Adhesions in the float's actuation area can lead to its blockage, so periodic cleaning is recommended when the liquid is dirty or leaves residues (e.g., due to evaporation).
