The RT 100 series reaction torque sensor from Magtrol offers numerous advantages for torque measurement due to its compact, robust, and maintenance-free design. Based on strain gauge technology, the RT sensor provides signal transmission with very high accuracy. The torque measuring device of the RT 100 series is designed to perform static torque measurements and small dynamic rotational movements (with limited rotation angle) in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions with high precision. The sensor measures small reaction torques by using flange-flange connections in series with the component being tested. Its mechanical design features a central through hole that allows for the easy passage of shafts, cables, or pipes.
