As a signal conditioner, the AN1500M is used for processing and displaying signals from sensors (force, load, pressure, torque, ...) that originate from strain gauges in bridge configuration. As a load monitor, it can also receive any signal in the range of ±150mVDC from a shunt, a converter, or any type of transmitter. The load monitor offers selectable input ranges (±150mV) and excitation voltages (5V, 10V) to support load cells with various types and sensitivities. Two programming methods allow for scaling the measuring device for operation in the desired technical units. The base unit is a soldered assembly consisting of a main board, a three-color programmable display, and a circuit. Standard features include reading the input variables as well as remote HOLD, reading of minimum/maximum values (PEAK & VALLEY), TARE, and reset function,...
