Olives

As the name suggests, these black olives are grown near the city of Kalamata in the southern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. They are also known as Kalamon. They are elongated, almond-shaped, dark purple, juicy, and have a thin skin. They are marinated in brine, olive oil, and wine vinegar, giving them a fine wine aroma and a unique taste.
