The 150 Label Rouge poultry farmers who are members of the Fermiers d’Argoat work with five slaughterhouses (ARNAL, LDC Bretagne, RONSARD, ARRIVE, and SAVEL), promoting a quality policy that involves slaughterers, production, hatcheries, and feed suppliers around a few fundamental concepts: animal welfare, taste quality, environmental protection, and respect for the finished product. Chickens, guinea fowl, capons, pullets, and turkeys, of rustic breeds with slow growth selected for their meat quality, raised outdoors, and fed exclusively on plant-based materials, minerals, and vitamins (with a minimum of 75% grains) have successfully appealed to the Breton and Parisian markets through several strong brands such as: "Fermiers d’Argoat", "Fermiers de Bretagne", and "Lande de Bretagne". These brands also benefit from the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) "Volailles de Bretagne", recognizing the advantages of Breton origin in our products.
